I liked that there was a jacuzzi. I loved the breakfast selections, it was really good. Fabulous base for exploring Donegal Town.
-
Good staff, deluxe place. We had a deluxe queen room, and we enjoyed it. The breakfast's price is €8 per person per day.

breakfast was alful could not eat it

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the hotels location was perfect for a busy stay but not for a quiet one.
Having to wait over an hour for breakfast, the lifts were not well situated and long walks with baggage was a problem up and down stairs. The parking was a nightmare. The single supplement was not appreciated at £11 per night. The Ironing board was in a public corridor. It is a shame because it is so well situated but I will not be going back.

Excellent location in centre of picturesque town. Nice view of bay from my room. Short drive to countryside and coast. Great facilities. Good sized room and large ensuite. Restaurant and lovely atmopheric bar area.
-
Central location.Friendly bar and resturaunt staff.Good breakfast. Liked the Thai resturaunt.
No hotel parking. Cluttered bedroom - two beds where there should only have been one.Poor view from room to fire escape and flat rooves with cables etc scattered accross same.

Nice view of the river from our room. Room comfortable (but check that it is not in the block above the function rooms!) Staff very friendly. Location on the Diamond of Donegal town. Public parking but the reception will give a vouched to display (ask for it as the information is not volunteered). Great swimming pool and gym and jacussi.
The main dining area was in the bar (with noise) and was dirty (food residue under the table) and the food was so-so. The second night we choose to eat out. There is a Thai restaurant in the hotel if you like that type of food. Choice of cereals and fruit and yoghurt at breakfast was very limited. They need to look at the food side of the hotel as it spoils an otherwise excellent hotel.

Location of Hotel is good with access to all amenities. Shopping is also very convenient and plenty of variety for restaurants and cafe'S. Donegal Castle is a plus and views at the bay. Breakfast is very nice
I don't think we should be charged for a view.
-
very comfortable room - great breakfast and thai restaurant meal
lack of parking was a problem - it was the quick and the dead around the hotel - no trolleys or people to assist with luggage from the car up to room.

Stayed for 1 night as we were attending a wedding in another hotel outside. The hotel is fine. It is quite old and perhaps a little dated. The room was a double and also single bed. Absolutely no view - just a wall. Room had a hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. There were some stairs to be negotiated in order to get to our room so please bear that in mind. We were on the first floor. Had a drink in hotel bar which is very nice and very friendly staff. Prices reasonable enough. You can get a drink up until 2 am but after that the night porter wont serve any drinks. Breakfast was fine but finished far too early (10 am) for a bank holiday weekend. In most hotels you can have breakfast up to 11 am at weekends. Yes, would stay again.
Certainly didn't like having to be down for breakfast by 10 am. on a Bank Holiday weekend.

Very nice and friendly receptionist. The food in the Upper Deck Bar/restaurant was excellent.
The room was way too warm and very uncomfortable.Could not cool down room even with window open.Heating left on during a sunny day.

I liked the location and the hotel was in the center of town. They gave us free parking which i thought was great.
